Free utilities for end users. Most of the pre OS X stuff uses the Dialog Director osax which enables the creation of some fairly sophisticated GUIs in AppleScript under classic Mac OS.
Each project is described briefly below. Links are provided to online versions of the docs and to the files themselves. All files are StuffIt 5 archives, mostly of disk images. Please read the licence before downloading.

These do vary, but, as a guide, most of the traditional Mac OS scripts need something like this:
Minimum: 040 Mac, OS 8.1*, standard installation of AppleScript.
Recommended: PowerPC (604/G3/G4) 150MHz or higher, MacOS 8.5.1-9.1.
Some suites require, or will if possible use, extra Scripting Additions as noted.
I generally recommend MacOS 8.5.1 or higher, mainly because of the great improvements in speed that came with AppleScript 1.3. AppleScript versions 1.7 to 1.8.2 are buggy and should be avoided.
* System 7 users: Some of this stuff will (hopefully) either run as is, or with a little tweaking, under 7.5 or higher. If you want to use something but it doesn't run, please let me know what happened and I'll try to get it working. Some things, mainly the GUI apps, will probably be unpleasantly slow if you're using a 68k machine though.
